What are the age limits for your soft play equipment?

We will travel up to 20 miles from IP1 free of charge. If you are further afield, a travel fee may apply.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of your booking but the event can be rearranged to another day within 6 months. Full refund if notice given within a month of the event. Please see our Terms and conditions for more information.
How much space do I need for the soft play set-up?
The space required varies depending on the package you choose. We can advise on specific dimensions when you enquire about your desired package.
Do you include delivery, set- up, and collection?
Absolutely! All our hire packages include delivery, professional set-up at your chosen venue, and collection at the end of your booking time.
Terms and Conditions
Little Memories Soft play Terms and Conditions of hire:
By completing a booking form and paying the required deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Cancellation

Availability of the required date, equipment and package can be checked via our contact form or booking form on our website or through phone or email to Little Memories and once confirmed you will be sent an email.

A booking will only be confirmed by Little Memories Soft Play once the required deposit has been paid.
-
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. An invoice will be issued for the deposit.
-
The remaining balance for Private Hires is due no later than 2 days before the confirmed Hire date. For Public Events, the remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the confirmed Hire date.

Payment may be made by PayPal, PayPal Guest using a debit/credit card, or BACS.

If the balance is not received by the applicable payment deadline, Little Memories Soft Play will contact the Hirer to remind them that payment is due. If the balance remains unpaid, the booking will be cancelled, the deposit will be retained and the equipment will not be delivered or set up. The Hirer remains responsible for any outstanding sums properly due under these Terms & Conditions.

If the Hirer cancels their booking, the 50% deposit will normally be forfeited and is non-refundable. However, where the Hirer gives at least 14 days’ notice, including the 14th day before the Hire date, the deposit may be transferred to a new Hire date, subject to availability.

Where a deposit is transferred following a cancellation, the new Hire date must be within 6 months of the original Hire date. The price of the new booking will remain at the price agreed at the time of the original booking, provided the new booking is for the same package and requirements.

A deposit may only be transferred to a new date once. If the Hirer subsequently cancels the rebooked date, the deposit will be non-refundable and will not be transferred again.

If you fail to rebook within the 6 month time period the deopisit will be non-refundable.

Any changes to a confirmed booking must be requested 2 days before the event. All amendments will be confirmed by Little Memories through email before the Hire date. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

All prices are subject to change at any time, except for confirmed bookings. A minimum Equipment Hire value of £75 applies, excluding any additional hours or other agreed charges.

If Little Memories Soft Play cancels a booking, other than due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, all monies paid for the cancelled booking will be refunded.

All Hires are indoors only. Little Memories Soft Play does not guarantee suitable weather conditions and will not set up equipment outdoors.

Soft Play Hire prices include delivery, full set-up and collection/clear-away.
- Up to 8 hours of equipment hire. Hire times must fall within the period of 9:00am to 6:00pm, unless otherwise agreed with Little Memories Soft Play.
2. Delivery, setup and collection
-
It is the Hirer’s responsibility to check the dimensions of the venue and ensure that there is sufficient space for the package and equipment selected, including an appropriate clear area surrounding the equipment.

Little Memories Soft Play reserves the right to refuse to set up equipment if, upon arrival, the venue or proposed setup area is considered by our staff to be unsafe or unsuitable. This may include, but is not limited to:
-
insufficient space;
-
insufficient clearance around the equipment;
-
unsafe access;
-
unsuitable flooring or surfaces;
-
low ceilings or other overhead obstructions;
-
narrow doorways or access routes;
-
stairs or steps;
-
inaccessible or unsuitable parking;
-
unsafe unloading or loading conditions;
-
obstacles that prevent safe setup; or
-
any other condition that Little Memories Soft Play reasonably considers may create a safety risk.

Where the venue or setup area is unsuitable or unsafe due to circumstances that were the responsibility of the Hirer to disclose or arrange for, the booking may still be chargeable and no refund will automatically be due.

Where there is insufficient space to safely accommodate the complete package selected, Little Memories Soft Play may, where reasonably possible, set up only the equipment that can be safely accommodated. Equipment that cannot safely be installed will not be used, and the Hirer will remain responsible for the agreed Hire price.

For Private Soft Play Hires, please allow a minimum of 30 minutes before the event for Little Memories Soft Play to deliver and set up the equipment. Please also allow a minimum of 30 minutes after the event for our staff to dismantle, check and remove the equipment.

For Public Event Hires, please allow approximately 1.5–2 hours before the event for Little Memories Soft Play to deliver and set up the equipment. Please also allow a minimum of 30 minutes after the event for our staff to dismantle, check and remove the equipment.

Additional time may be required depending on the size and requirements of the booking and will be discussed with the Hirer where necessary.

It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that Little Memories Soft Play has safe and easy access to the venue for unloading and loading equipment.
-
All access restrictions must be disclosed before the Hire date. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
lack of parking;
-
height restriction barriers;
-
stairs or steps;
-
narrow doorways;
-
restricted access routes;
-
long distances between parking and the venue; and
-
any other restrictions that may affect delivery or collection.

Little Memories Soft Play requires a suitable parking space reasonably close to the venue entrance to allow equipment to be unloaded and loaded safely. Failure to provide suitable access or parking may result in Little Memories Soft Play being unable to complete the delivery.
-
Little Memories Soft Play only delivers and sets up equipment at ground-floor venues unless otherwise agreed by Little Memories prior to the booking.
-
Packages include free delivery to venues within 20 miles of Little Memories Soft Play HQ in Ipswich. Deliveries beyond 20 miles will incur an additional delivery charge. The applicable charge will be confirmed before the booking is accepted.
-
All Soft Play and Bouncy Castle Hires are for indoor use only, unless specifically agreed otherwise. Soft play equipment, mats and other equipment may become excessively hot in direct sunlight.

Little Memories Soft Play requires a minimum clear area of 1 metre around the equipment. Once our staff have safely positioned and set up the equipment, the Hirer and guests must not move, reposition, dismantle or alter the equipment.

Any concerns about the setup must be raised with Little Memories Soft Play staff before the event begins. Once the equipment has been accepted and the Hire has commenced, the Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment remains in its agreed position and is used in accordance with the safety instructions.

At the end of the Hire, the Hirer must inform Little Memories Soft Play staff of any damage, loss or significant soiling that has occurred during the Hire and which has not already been reported.
3. Damage, Loss and Cleaning Deposit
-
For Private Soft Play Hires, a £50 refundable damage/loss/cleaning deposit will be required prior to booking.
-
Where a Bouncy Castle is also included in the booking, a £100 refundable damage/loss/cleaning deposit will be required.
-
The applicable damage/ loss/cleaning deposit will be returned following inspection of the equipment and will be returned within 2 working days after the Hire.
-
Little Memories Soft Play may deduct reasonable costs from the deposit where equipment has been:
-
damaged;
-
lost;
-
excessively soiled;
-
stained;
-
damaged through misuse; or
-
requires professional cleaning or repair as a result of the Hire.

Where the cost of cleaning, repair, replacement or loss exceeds the amount of the damage deposit, the Hirer remains responsible for paying the outstanding balance.

Where additional costs are required, Little Memories Soft Play may provide the Hirer with an itemised invoice setting out the costs incurred. Where appropriate, quotes may be obtained for professional cleaning, repair or replacement.

Any additional amount due must be paid by the Hirer within the payment period stated on the invoice.

If the Hirer disputes or refuses to pay an amount properly due for damage, loss or cleaning, Little Memories Soft Play will first attempt to resolve the matter with the Hirer directly. If the amount remains unpaid, Little Memories Soft Play reserves the right to take reasonable steps to recover the outstanding debt, including using appropriate debt recovery or legal procedures where necessary. The Hirer may also be responsible for reasonable costs of recovery where permitted by law.

The Hirer must not attempt to repair, replace or alter damaged equipment without prior agreement from Little Memories Soft Play.
4. Health & Safety
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent injury, damage or misuse of the equipment.
A copy of the relevant safety rules will be provided to the Hirer following setup.
The following safety rules must be followed at all times:

Soft Play equipment is suitable only for children under 5 years of age.
-
The Hirer must ensure that children use the equipment appropriately and in accordance with the age and suitability requirements of the equipment.
-
The maximum simultaneous capacity for individual items is:
-
Bouncy Castle: maximum 5 children under 5 years of age at one time;
-
Ball Pit: maximum 3 children at one time;
-
Slide: only 1 child may use the slide at a time;
-
Double Rocker: maximum 2 children at one time;
-
Single Rocker: maximum 1 child at one time;
-
Hopper: maximum 1 child at one time;
-
Ride-on Car: maximum 1 child at one time.
-

These maximum numbers must not be exceeded.
-
A responsible adult aged 18 or over must supervise children at all times while the equipment is in use.
-
Children must not push, collide, fight, climb or behave in a manner that could cause injury or distress to themselves or others.
-
Shoes, glasses, jewellery and badges must be removed before using the Soft Play equipment.
-
No food, drinks or chewing gum are permitted on or near the equipment.
-
No face paints, party poppers, powder cannons, coloured streamers, pens, silly string or similar products are permitted on or near the equipment, as these may stain or damage the vinyl.
-
No smoking or vaping is permitted on or near the equipment.
-
No pets are permitted on or near the equipment.
-
Sharp objects or instruments must not be used on or near the equipment.
-
The equipment must be kept clean and free from substances that may cause staining or damage.
-
All equipment will be cleaned and checked by Little Memories Soft Play before and after each Hire.
-
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment remains in a suitable and safe environment throughout the Hire.
-
A clear area of at least 1 metre around the equipment must be maintained at all times.
-
Equipment must not be moved, repositioned, dismantled or altered after it has been set up by Little Memories Soft Play.
- Little Memories Soft Play cannot be responsible for accidents or injuries arising from misuse, reckless use, inadequate supervision or failure to follow the safety instructions, to the extent permitted by law.
5. General Conditions

At the end of the Hire, the Hirer must collect any loose Soft Play balls from around the venue and return them to the Ball Pit, ready for Little Memories Soft Play staff to pack away.

Any damage to the equipment must be reported to Little Memories Soft Play as soon as possible.
-
The Hirer is responsible for the equipment during the Hire Period and may be charged for loss or damage caused by misuse, negligence or failure to follow these Terms & Conditions and the safety instructions.
-
The Hirer is responsible for any equipment that is lost during the Hire Period and will be charged the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
-
Little Memories Soft Play reserves the right to stop the use of equipment during a Hire where our staff reasonably consider that the equipment is being used unsafely, improperly or in a way that could cause injury or damage.
-
If equipment is damaged, lost or used in a manner that creates an ongoing safety concern, Little Memories Soft Play may remove the affected equipment from use immediately.
-
Little Memories Soft Play holds £5 million Public Liability Insurance. A copy of the insurance documentation is available upon request.
-
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects the Hirer’s statutory rights or excludes or limits any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
6. Public Event Hires
-

For Public Events, the Hirer/event organiser remains responsible for the overall management and safety of the event and venue, including ensuring that the venue is suitable for the equipment and that appropriate arrangements are in place for supervision.

The Hirer/event organiser must ensure that the Soft Play and Bouncy Castle area is kept clear, safe and accessible throughout the Hire.
-
A responsible adult must supervise children using the equipment at all times. The Hirer/event organiser is responsible for ensuring that sufficient supervision is provided for the number and ages of children attending the event.
-
The Hirer/event organiser must ensure that children use the equipment only in accordance with the safety rules supplied by Little Memories Soft Play.
-
The Hirer/event organiser must comply with any reasonable instructions given by Little Memories Soft Play staff regarding the safe use of the equipment.
-
The Hirer/event organiser is responsible for informing Little Memories Soft Play in advance of any venue restrictions, access issues, event-specific requirements or other circumstances that may affect safe delivery, setup or collection.
-
Public Event balances must be paid in full 7 days before the confirmed Hire date. Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
7. Circumstances Beyond Our Reasonable Control
-
Little Memories Soft Play will make every reasonable effort to fulfil confirmed bookings. However, we cannot be held responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
-
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control may include, but are not limited to:
-
severe or unexpected traffic disruption;
-
vehicle breakdown;
-
accidents or road closures;
-
sudden illness or serious injury affecting essential staff;
-
emergency situations;
-
fire, flood or other serious damage;
-
extreme weather or conditions making travel or delivery unsafe;
-
venue closure or loss of access;
-
power failure or other essential venue problems;
-
government restrictions;
-
public health emergencies;
-
natural disasters; or
-
other events which could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.
-
-
Where such circumstances occur, Little Memories Soft Play will contact the Hirer as soon as reasonably practicable and will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative solution where possible.
-
Where Little Memories Soft Play is unable to fulfil the booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will discuss the available options with the Hirer, which may include rearranging the booking for another available date.
- If no suitable arrangement can made a full refund will be provided.
-
Nothing in this section limits any rights the Hirer may have under applicable law.
8. Cancellation by Little Memories Soft Play
-
If Little Memories Soft Play cancels a confirmed booking from no fault of the hirer all monies paid for that booking will be refunded.
-
Where cancellation is necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Little Memories Soft Play will contact the Hirer as soon as reasonably practicable and will work with the Hirer to find a suitable alternative where possible. If no suiable alternative is availalable a full refund will be provided.
- If you are rude, aggressive or inappropriate in any way to any staff at Llittle Memories Soft Play the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be non-refundable.

Little Memories Soft Play reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where it becomes apparent that the venue, access arrangements or proposed setup are unsafe or unsuitable and a safe alternative cannot reasonably be arranged.

Where a booking cannot proceed because the Hirer has failed to disclose relevant venue, access or safety information, the booking will be treated as a cancellation by the Hirer and the applicable cancellation terms will apply.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By completing the booking and paying the required deposit, the Hirer confirms that they:

have read and understood these Terms & Conditions;
-
agree to comply with the safety rules;
-
understand the age and capacity restrictions;
-
confirm that the venue information and access information supplied is accurate;
-
accept responsibility for supervising users of the equipment;
-
agree to report any damage, loss, accident or safety concern promptly; and
-
agree to pay any applicable charges arising under these Terms & Conditions.
